Get Started in 3 Steps
Download → install → plug in USB and you're running
Download & Extract
Download the .zip and extract it — you'll get "Arum Ambilight Setup 1.0.0.exe"
Run the installer
Follow the steps through to the end — you'll get an Arum Ambilight icon on your desktop and in the Start Menu
Plug in USB → open the app
Connect your LED strip to a USB port, then launch Arum Ambilight — it connects to the device automatically
If Windows shows “Windows protected your PC”
This is normal for a new app not yet registered with Microsoft — the file is safe. Click “More info” then “Run anyway” to launch it.
If the app can't connect to your strip
- Close any other lighting software still running — it may be holding the USB port
- Still nothing? Install the CH340 driver (search “CH340 driver windows”, or just ask us)
- Effects and Ambilight only run while the app is open — closing it stops the lights
